    Zikr of Allah SWT

Allah Almighty says: I am as My servant expects of Me and I am with him as he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I will remember him in Myself. If he mentions Me in a gathering, I will mention him in a greater gathering.

When he draws near Me by the span of his hand, I draw near him by the length of a cubit. When he draws near Me by the length of a cubit, I draw near him by the length of a fathom. When he comes to Me walking, I come to him running. Bukhari HADITH QUDSI

Everything has its key, and the key to Paradise is the witnessing that there is no god but Allah. Tabarani

Regarding La illaha illala: No one but who says it with sincerity is admitted to Jannah. Muslim

Whoever says: “Subḥān Allāhil-Aẓīmi wa bihamdih” a date-palm tree is planted for him in Paradise. Tirmidhi

Two are the expressions which are light on the tongue, but heavy in scale, dear to the Compassionate One: “Glory be to Allah and praise is due to Him; Glory be to Allah, the Great.” Muslim

Whoever says, “Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,” one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea. Bukhari

Say “Subhaan-Allahi wa bihamdihi” a hundred times. Whoever says it one time, it is written for him ten. And whoever says it ten times, it is written for him a hundred. And whoever says it a hundred times, it is written for him a thousand. And whoever increases, Allah will increase for him. And whoever seeks Allah’s forgiveness, Allah will forgive him. Tirmidhi

Juwairiyah bint Al-Harith RA, the Mother of the Believers, reported: Rasulullah ﷺ came out from my apartment in the morning, when he had performed Fajr, whilst I was on my musallah. He came back in the forenoon and found me still sitting there. Rasulullah ﷺ said, “Are you still in the same position as I left you.” I replied in the affirmative.

Thereupon the Prophet ﷺ said, “I recited four words three times after I had left you. If these are to be weighed against all what you have recited since morning, these will be heavier.

These are: “Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, adada khalqihi, wa rida nafsihi, wa zinata arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi” (Glory and praise be to Allah, as much as the number of His creation, as much as pleases Him, as much as the weight of His Throne and as much as the ink of His words). Muslim

He who recites in the morning and in the evening the statement: “Subhaan-Allahi wa bihamdihi” one hundred times, will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone with better deeds except for someone who had recited it more. Bukhari

Rasulullah ﷺ was asked as to which words were the best. He said: “Those for which Allah made a choice for His Angels or His servants, “Glory be to Allah and praise is due to Him.” Muslim

Verily, Allah Almighty has caravans of angels who have no other work but to follow gatherings of remembrance. When they find such gatherings in which there is remembrance, they sit with them and some of them surround the others with their wings until the space between them and the heavens is covered.

When they disperse, they ascend to the heavens and Allah Almighty asks them, although He knows better than them: “From where have you come?” They say: “We came from Your servants on earth who were glorifying You, declaring Your greatness and oneness, praising You and asking from You.”

Allah says: “What do they ask from Me?” They say: “They ask for Your Paradise.” Allah says: “Have they seen My Paradise?” They say, “No.” Allah says: “What if they were to see My Paradise?” They say: “They seek Your protection.”

Allah says: “From what do they seek My protection?” They say: “From Your Hellfire, our Lord.” Allah says: “Have they seen My Hellfire?” They say, “No.” Allah says: “What if they were to see My Hellfire?” They say: “They ask for Your forgiveness.”

Allah says: “I will pardon them, give them what they request, and grant them protection.” They say: “Our Lord, there is one among them, a simple servant who happened to pass by and sit there alongside them.” Allah says: “I will also grant him pardon, for whoever sits with these fellows will not suffer misery.” Bukhari

    Mercy of Allah SWT

When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His book with Him upon the Throne: Verily, My mercy prevails over My wrath. Bukhari HADITH QUDSI

Forgiveness and acceptance of repentance by the Almighty is subject to His servant truly believing that He is forgiving and merciful. However, not to accompany such belief with right action would be to mock the Almighty.

Whoever comes with a good deed will have the reward of ten like it and even more. Whoever comes with an evil deed will be recompensed for one evil deed like it or he will be forgiven.

Whoever draws close to Me by the length of a hand, I will draw close to him by the length of an arm. Whoever draws close to Me the by length of an arm, I will draw close to him by the length of a fathom. Whoever comes to Me walking, I will come to him running.

Whoever meets Me with enough sins to fill the earth, not associating any partners with Me, I will meet him with as much forgiveness. Muslim HADITH QUDSI

A servant committed a sin and he said: “O Allah, forgive my sin!” Allah Almighty said: “My servant has committed a sin and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds him accountable”. Then the servant returned to his sin and he said: “O Allah, forgive my sin!” Allah said: “My servant has committed a sin and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds him accountable”. Then the servant returned to his sin and he said: “O Allah, forgive my sin!” Allah said: “My servant has committed a sin and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds him accountable, so do what you will for I have forgiven you”. Bukhari HADITH QUDSI

A man from the time before you was called to account in the Hereafter. Nothing good was found with him except that he was lenient in his business with people and he would order his servant to relieve the debts of those in hardship. Allah Almighty said: “We are more worthy of such actions, so overlook his sins.” Muslim HADITH QUDSI

There is no day upon which Allah frees more of His servants from the Hellfire than the day of Arafat. He draws near and then he praises them to the angels, saying: “What do these want?” Muslim HADITH QUDSI

Satan said: “By Your might, O Lord, I will continue to mislead the children of Adam, as long as their souls are in their bodies.” The Lord said: “By My might and majesty, I will continue to forgive them, as long as they seek My forgiveness.” Musnad Ahmad HADITH QUDSI

Allah has written down the good deeds and the bad ones. Then He explained it [by saying that] he who has intended a good deed and has not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed. But if he has intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as from ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times over.

But if he has intended a bad deed and has not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed. But if he has intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed. Bukhari HADITH QUDSI

O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it. Tirmidhi HADITH QUDSI
